Independent learner education

Practice that helps Australian learners understand the road.

Driving Knowledge Tests gives learner drivers a clear, practical way to revise road rules, practise test-style decisions and learn from every answer.

Why we built it

Confidence should come from understanding.

Memorising an answer letter is not enough preparation for real roads. Our quizzes explain the rule behind each answer so learners can recognise the same principle when the situation is worded differently.

Fixed practice sets make improvement measurable. Random and topic-based sessions help learners revisit the same knowledge from a fresh angle.

What you can practise

  • Road rules, signs, markings and traffic signals
  • Safe driving, hazard awareness and responsible choices
  • Parking, intersections and giving-way decisions
  • Sharing the road with pedestrians, cyclists and heavy vehicles
  • State and territory-focused learner knowledge
How our content is made

Original practice questions, organised state by state.

We study publicly available road-rule and learner-handbook concepts, then write practice questions and explanations in our own words. The purpose is to teach the underlying rule—not to reproduce confidential or official test questions.

Australian jurisdictions may use different terminology, test structures and licence requirements. We organise the learning experience around each state and territory and review the material as the site develops.

Important to know

We are an independent practice resource.

Driving Knowledge Tests is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by an Australian government licensing authority. Always confirm current rules and test requirements with the relevant state or territory authority.
