Tasmania’s current learner knowledge pathway

Tasmania provides the Plates Plus learning and testing pathway and a standalone Driver Knowledge Test option through Service Tasmania. A separate official car practice test is not currently offered, so our quizzes are clearly labelled as independent revision.

A simple study system

Practise, understand and improve.

Begin with the five fixed tests and review errors by topic. Once you have covered the full bank, use random practice to check whether you can apply the rules in a different order.

The 45-question knowledge review is an additional study tool. It does not claim to reproduce Tasmania’s test length or current pass conditions.
