Know what you are practising

South Australia’s two theory pathways

South Australia offers the myLs online course and an in-office theory test. They use different final-test structures, so the website keeps them separate and labels the format-based mock as the in-office version.

myLs final test30 questions

The online pathway requires 27 correct answers.

In-office Part A8 of 8

All giving-way diagram questions must be correct.

In-office Part B32 of 42

At least 32 multiple-choice answers must be correct.

A simple study system

Practise, understand and improve.

Prioritise giving-way practice because the in-office pathway requires every Part A answer to be correct before Part B can be completed.

Use the 45-question fixed tests for broad learning. The separate 50-question format-based mock combines eight giving-way and 42 other questions for an exam-style session.
